Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, a governorship contestant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has withdrawn from the race.
His withdrawal from the governorship primary election of the PDP scheduled for Tuesday was announced by his media aide, John Ajayi,
Ajayi said the development was due to a lack of trust from the National leadership of the PDP.

He said the withdrawal of his principal was “in view of the PDP National shenanigans”
