Well meaning indigenes of the neighboring communities of Ogbe-Ijaw, headquarters of Warri South West Local Government Council and Aladja in Udu Local Government Council, on Sunday, held an inaugural general meeting towards the restoration of peace in the communities.
The indigenes under the aegis of Ogbe-Ijaw/Aladja Peace Vanguard, deemed it fit to seek a peaceful coexistence between the neighboring communities and thus, has been creating such awareness virtually for quite sometime.

But on Sunday, the group resorted to holding it’s first offline general meeting somewhere in Udu, with series of issues concerning the communities raised and dealt with.

The peace vanguard which is championed by Amb Enieghen Thompson Layefa has gathered momentum overtime and has caught the eye of other concerned parties as well.
Meanwhile, before Sunday’s General Meeting, administrators comprising of indigenes from both communities had been brainstorming to pursue a lasting peace that has long eluded the communities.
Conveners of the General Meeting made up of a quintet of concerned indigenes include; Amb Enieghen Layefa, Amb Bezi Ejovwo, Amb Victor Akemotubo, Amb Aggreh Solomon and Amb Governor Stanley.
