Governor of Anambra state, Charles Soludo has said inmates in the state prisons will soon have access to news and events about Nigeria and the rest of the world.

Soludo, gave the assurance on Monday when he visited the Ekwulobia Prison after his Thanksgiving Mass.

The Anambra helmsman’s statement read in part: “I also promise that every leaking roof and damaged infrastructure shall be renovated”,

“We will also look into the long outstanding unavailability of power supply by providing solar devices and television sets where inmates can watch football, news, movies, religious activities and entertainment.”
