A man identified as Jackton Opondo has reportedly hacked his 40-year-old wife, Judith Anyago with cutlass after she denied him sex.
The woman is currently at the Busia County Referral Hospital in Kenya, were she is receiving treatment.
The incident happened at Misaro village in Siaya county.

According to Judith, she was forced to deny her husband conjugal rights because he is allegedly HIV-positive.
She further accused her husband of having extramarital affairs, particularly after discovering condoms and female undergarments that did not belong to her in his trouser.
The victim’s nurse Rose Kwena, while confirming the incident, said doctors are doing their best to manage the patient but a CT scan will determine the extent of injuries.
Anyango’s brother-in-law Festo Onyango Odhiambo who condemned the act, expressed disappointment in his brother’s action, adding that a family meeting has been scheduled to resolve the squabbles between the couple.
The family is now pleading with law enforcement agents to find and apprehend the perpetrator, whom they describe as a dangerous man.
