Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has declared his intention to run for the state governorship election in 2023.

Makinde, who was elected as governor of the state In 2019 made this disclosure on Thursday.

The governor disclosed that he had picked the expression of interest and nomination forms of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

According to him: “I announce that I have picked up the Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for a second term as the elected Governor of the good people of Oyo State.

“If the good people of Oyo State desire it, we will serve for four more years,”
