In a side conversation with reporters, the Lawmaker revealed following complaints he received from various communities regarding their challenges during his campaign, particularly the challenge of power, in which he promised to assist them, a promise he claimed he was fulfilling the Lawmer said the gesture was part of his personal project, not a constituency project.

As a philanthropist turned politician, the LP representative emphasized that he believed in making a positive impact on people’s lives and that he will do more for the people as long as they support him in his efforts to represent them.

In response to the justification for empowering members of opposing political parties, he said:

As a leader, there is a need to carry everybody along. Political campaigns are over. It’s time to work. When you carry everybody along, nobody will pull you down but when you decide to go alone, opposition will kick in and as a result you begin to have problems.”

He added that he would carry on his predecessor Rt Hon Umar Yakubu Barde’s good legacies and correct his mistakes.

The LP Rep Member stressed that he would meet with Barde to discuss any unfinished projects and, if given permission, would see to their completion.
