Erstwhile aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has revealed grounds that will make the People’s Democratic Party lose the 2023 presidential election.
In a tweet on Sunday, Omokri analysed the chances of both the ruling All Progressive Congress and the main opposition, PDP in the election.
In his prediction, Omokri said the PDP will lose the presidential election if the APC zoned its presidential ticket to the South West region.

He said the main opposition party would lose the presidential election if it zoned its ticket to a region with a lower voting strength.
Using the 2019 elections as a pointer, Omokri stated that politics was a game of numbers and not sentiments.
He wrote;

NW: 8.2 M
NC: 4.4 M
NE: 4.3 M
SW: 3.8 M
SS: 3:2 M
SE: 2.09 M
“If APC gives their ticket to the SW, PDP will LOSE if it gives its ticket to any zone with a lower voting strength. Politics is a game of numbers, not sentiments!”

Meanwhile, Reno Omokri earlier described reports attributed to renowned journalist, Reuben Abati of Goodluck Jonathan declaring for the 2023 presidency as ‘fake news’.
According to the clergyman, Jonathan has never made such statement with anyone and labeled the report ‘a figment of imagination of that journalist’.
