The incumbent Benue South Senator, Comrade Abba Moro has won the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senatorial primary.
The lawmaker retained his ticket after defeating his fellow aspirants during PDP primary election held in Otukpo on Tuesday.
Moro garnered 179 votes ahead of Hassan Anthony Saleh, Joe Ojobo and Bright Ogaji.

Abba Moro – 179
Hassan Anthony Saleh – 72
Joe Ojobo – 53
Bright Ogaji – 3
