BREAKING: 3 Sentenced to Death For Murder of Fasoranti’s Daughter | Daily Report Nigeria

Three persons involved in the murder of Olufunke Olakuri, daughter of Afenifere Leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, have been sentenced to death by hanging.

They were sentenced by an Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure.

The deceased was shot dead by the convicts along Benin-Ore-Shagamu Expressway in the Ore Odigbo Local Government Area of the state in June 2019, on her way to Lagos State.

She was buried few weeks later.

Her alleged killers were later arrested and arraigned 6 months after her death.

The convicts are Awalu Abubakar, Muhammed Shehu and Adamu Adamu.

The Presiding Judge, Justice William Olamide found the trio guilty of involving in murder, kidnapping and armed robbery and sentenced them to death.

The fourth suspect, Auwàla Abubakar, who is the spokesman of Miyetti Allah was discharged and acquitted.
