The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney an American multinational mass media and entertainment empire says it’s set to release the first Nigerian animation series dubbed “Iwaju.”
Disney revealed this development recently on the micro-blogging app, Twitter.

According to it, Iwaju interpreted the futuristic coming-of-age story of Nigeria’s largest city, Lagos about Tola, a rich heiress, and Kole, a street boy.
Disney described the ‘Iwaju’ series as a love letter to Nigeria.
“Journey into a futuristic version of Lagos, Nigeria with the first look of Disney animation and Kugali’s Iwaju!” It said on Twitter.
