The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, has told his Peoples Democratic Party counterpart, Atiku Abubakar to step down from the race.
Tinubu particularly asked Atiku to endorse him for the February 2023 presidential poll.
The former Lagos governor asked Atiku to reciprocate the “gesture” he gave him when Atiku contested for presidency in 2007 under the now defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) where Tinubu dropped his ambition to endorse hi.
Tinubu made the demand while speaking on Monday during a meeting with the Arewa Joint Committee in Kaduna.
The interactive session forms part of a wider interaction with presidential candidates to discuss their plans for the region ahead of the 2023 general elections.
