Three Teenagers Burnt to Death in Kano Fire | Daily Report Nigeria

A fire outbreak on Monday night, killed 3 teenagers in Kabuga Yan Azara, in Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State.

The victims have been identified as 6-year-old Saddiqa Salisu, Abdulsamad,15, and Fatima Isiyaku.

Spokesman for the Kano State Fire Service, Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday November 22, said the fire involving a storey building occurred on Monday night, November 21, 2022.

“We received an emergency call from Marwa Umar at about 10:40 p.m that there was a fire outbreak at Kabuga and immediately sent a rescue team to the scene at about 10:50pm to prevent the fire from spreading to other houses.

“Our men evacuated three unconscious bodies which were later confirmed dead,”

Abdullahi added that the service had already initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire.

He charged the public to use fire and electric appliances with caution, and report any case of drowning, fire incident, road accident among others to the nearest fire service office.
