The All Progressives Congress’ candidate for Burutu Constituency 1 in the Delta State House of Assembly, Ambassador Anthony Ebitonmo Alapala has described his main opposition in the race, Asupa Forteta of the Peoples Democratic Party as no match for him.

Alapala made the declaration
during the APC Ward-to-Ward campaign in Kiagbodo, Burutu Local Government Area, on Tuesday.

The APC candidate also told the crowd that he has said that he has raised fifty millionaires across Ijaw nation, adding that he has no competition in the poll.

Speaking with our Daily Report Nigeria, Alapala said he was sure of victory owing to his good works in Ijaw nation, especially across Buturu Local Government Area.

He said:

The things I’ve done for Ijaw nation, particularly in Buturu Local Government Area, I am very very confident of winning.

“That day of the election, you’ll see the massive votes I’ll get. I can’t tell you the accurate amount, but massively. In all the wards, from ward 4 to ward 11. The votes and the electorates will speak and every eye in Burutu and Nigeria will see on that day.

“My election has been won. I don’t have a competitor. Asupa Forteta is not my match. You all know I have not held any government position but today I can boast of 50 millionaires raised in Ijaw nation. I don’t have an election.”

Alapala further said a win for the APC’s Bola Tinubu (presidency) and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege would lead to an infrastructural transformation in Burutu.

Describing Burutu as an APC territory, Alapala said;

Burutu Local Government is APC. If Jagaban wins the election he will supply the needs of Ijaw nation. Ayakoromor Bridge cannot be completed in two months.

“But if you vote for Senator Ovie Omo- Agege, from May 29 to December 2023 he will complete the pending bridge. There will be internal roads.”
