With Barcelona heading towards defeat, a miracle goal from Raphinha whipped cross from the right that evaded Robert Lewandowski’s touch and before creeping into the net.
Meanwhile, Barcelona were left furious when the referee look away following a hand ball inside the 18-yard box.
United will host the reverse fixture next Thursday.
