Raphinha Rescues Barcelona Against Manchester United

Manchester United failed to claim a win at Barcelona, after Raphinha’s shot flew past David De Gea to nick a draw for the hosts in their Europa League knockout tie on Thursday.

The La Liga gaints took the lead thanks to a beautiful goal from Marcos Alonso five minutes after the break.

United’s In-form striker, Marcus Rashford then levelled the game with a fine finish from an acute angle.

Erik ten Hag’s side then went in front after an own goal from Jules Kounde, who put the ball into his own net.

With Barcelona heading towards defeat, a miracle goal from Raphinha whipped cross from the right that evaded Robert Lewandowski’s touch and before creeping into the net.

Meanwhile, Barcelona were left furious when the referee look away following a hand ball inside the 18-yard box.

United will host the reverse fixture next Thursday.
