Chairman of Lagos Parks and Garages Community, Musiliu Akinsanya, AKA, MC Oluomo, on Monday, distributed bags of garri to residents in the Ejigbo community of Lagos State.
Oluomo distributed small-sized bags of garri to a large crowd who had trooped out to receive their share.
According to an eyewitness, the All Progressives Congress, APC a strong supporter arrived in the area in an SUV car in the night.
In a video posted online, MC Oluomo could be seen sitting on the roof of a car with a woman who joined him to throw the garri for people to catch.
This comes a few days before the Lagos State governorship election slated for March 18.
The APC gubernatorial candidate in the race was Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
However, the source added that the garri was a relief item from Oluomo and not a campaign strategy as many had presumed.
