Aresnal have gotten a double injury blow ahead of their Premier League tie with Crystal Palace on Sunday.

Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta, confirmed the two injury blows for the Gunners following a harsh defeat against Sporting Lisbon on Thursday.

Arteta revealed that things did not look well for both Takehiro Tomiyasu and William Saliba after they were subbed off during the defeat to Sporting Lisbon at the Emirates Stadium.

Tomiyasu and Saliba were taken off injured as Arsenal lost 5-3 in a penalty shootout against Sporting after a 1-1 draw.

Speaking after the game, Arteta said at his post-match press conference, “Obviously, we lost Tomi very early in the game and we lost Saliba.

He added, “Tomiyasu looks pretty serious, for his reaction straight away and what he said to me. Obviously, it is very early and difficult to know.
