AbdulShally’s Take on Davido’ Custody Battle: “No Wife’s Benefits for Baby Mamas”

Businesswoman AbdulShally has shared her thoughts on the custody dispute between singer Davido and his baby mama, Sophia Momodu.

Commenting on the situation, AbdulShally emphasized that a baby mama shouldn’t expect the same benefits as a wife.

Sophia had previously accused Davido of neglecting their daughter, Imade, and not providing financial support for the past two years.

In response, Davido claimed that Sophia refused to stay in an apartment he bought in Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, and insisted he continue paying over N20 million in yearly rent. She also turned down his offer of N5 million for accommodation support.

During an Instagram live session with media personality Daddy Freeze, AbdulShally said that N5 million is more than enough for yearly housing in Nigeria. She added, “I’m not for or against either of them because no one really knows the full story. But in my opinion, based on personal experience, a baby mama shouldn’t expect a wife’s benefits.”
