Actor Patrick Doyle Calls ‘What God Cannot Do Doesn’t Exist’ Slogan Silly

The popular slogan, “What God cannot do doesn’t exist” introduced by Nigerian Pastor, Jerry Eze has come under scrutiny as actor Patrick Doyle calls it “silly.”

Doyle believed that God’s creative work was completed on the seventh day of creation and was deeply present in religious teachings.

Therefore, he argued on Facebook that using “What God cannot do doesn’t exist” belief as a slogan is both irrational and insulting.

He stressed that the popular saying, “Heaven helps those who help themselves,” while it may sound wise, it has subtly introduced the false doctrine of “works of men” into Christian theology.

The Actor stated that the above doctrine threatend to overshadow the profound truth of the “Finished Work of Christ.”

He further cautioned Christian slogan copywriters to heed the slogan, “If it breeds doubt, do without.”

Slogans, no matter how woke they appear, can erode the efficacy of profound scripture, he added.

He said:

Some people are just too obstinate to admit their folly. Even after that slogan ‘What God cannot do doesn’t exist’ has been proven to be silly, they still continue to chant it.

“The work of bringing things into existence was completed by God on the 7th day of creation.

“To speculate that some things ‘don’t exist’ and couch that irrational possibility in a slogan is insulting.

“Slogans, no matter how woke they sound, have the power of attrition to blunt the efficacy of profound scriptures.

“A good example is the slogan ‘Heaven helps those who help themselves.’

“This slogan overtime has become part of ‘Christian Lexicon’ and has insidiously introduced the false doctrine of ‘works of men’ to supplant the profundity of the doctrine of the ‘Finished Work Of Christ.’

“Here is a word of caution to christian slogan copy writers, ‘If It Breeds Doubt, Do Without’.”
