Renowned actress, Elizabeth Evoeme, fondly known as Ovularia from the 80s TV sitcom “The New Masquerade”, has passed away at the age of 81.
Evoeme’s family announced her demise in a statement, revealing that she died in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
However, the details surrounding her death were not disclosed.
Interestingly, Evoeme had been the subject of a death hoax on November 5, 2019, which was later debunked by her colleague, Chika Okpala, who played the character Chief Zebrudaya Okoroigwe Nwaogbe, also known as 4.30 in the sitcom.
