New Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has ordered for all the operational bank account of State to be frozen till further notice.
Adeleke also ordered a reversal of all policies by former governor Rauf Aregbesola of the All Progressives Congress.
The new governor gave the order almost immediately after he was sworn in as the sixth Governor of the State.

Ademola also vowed to review all appointments by his predecessor, Adegboyega Oyetola since July 17, 2022 when he lost election, while promising to deliver all his campaign promises.
He said;
“Under my watch, I will correct past injustice, corrupt acts or policies by previous administration which are against the collective interest of our people.”
He gave an Executive Order to reverse the name of the state from State of Osun to Osun State, which was one of the policies made by Aregbesola.
Ademola also announced that the slogan of the State will no longer be ‘State of Virtue’ but ‘State of Living Spring’.
