Toni Conceição’s men secured the victory through Karl Toko Ekambi’s double goals at seven minutes interval with the first in the 50th minute.

On the other hand, Dango Ouattara scored the only goal which gave his side the lead over Eagles of Carthage in the last minute of the first half.

Meanwhile, the Stallions were reduced to 10-men in the 83rd minute but Tunisia could not seize the opportunity to find atleast an equalizer.

Recall, Tunisia eliminated the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the round of 16 with a thin 1-0 .

Perhaps, yesterday’s defeat to Burkina may bring smile back to Nigerian faces who have been let down since Eagles’ elimination.

The 5x Africa Cup of Nations winners will therefore, face the winner between Egypt and Morocco as today’s result may decide.

Burkina who have also secured a place in the semi-final will be heading on either Senegal or Equatorial Guinea after their quarter-final clash this night.
