They have therefore been drawn against Eagles of Carthage for the Sunday’s clash to hold at the Roumdé Adjia Stadium, Garoua in Cameroon.

The former Basel shot-stopper wants the Nigeria national football team to play with commitment when they go toe-to-toe against Mondher Kebaier’s men.

The 54-year-old goalie also mentioned ‘cooperation’ as another important thing if the Eagles would go beyond the next stage.

Shorunmu told Completesports: “I think the commitment of the players was the key factor [for qualifying for AFCON Round of 16].”

“The players worked for each other. They should continue like that [against Tunisia].”

Meanwhile, the duel between the Eagles and Aigles de Carthage will kick-off by 8 pm on Sunday.
