Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will not take part in the Super Eagles’ decisive 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying away clash in Sierra Leone in June due to suspension.
The Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus goalie picked up his second booking in the qualifying match against Guinea-Bissau on Monday night.
Uzoho was given a yellow card for time-wasting late in the game as the Super Eagles managed a 1-0 win to avenge their earlier loss to the Djurtus.

He was booked for the same offense earlier in the qualifier’s match against Sierra Leone in Abuja.
A win or draw against Sierra Leone will be more than enough for the Super Eagles to be at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire.
The encounter will hold on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
