Police Uncover Planned Bandits Attack in Abuja

  • A gang of armed men have struck a village in Kebbi, kidnapping it’s district head, amongst other people.

  • The gunmen were reported to have attacked the village on Saturday, injuring three people and kidnapping nine other people

A group of armed men have kidnapped the village head of Kanya under the Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State, as they invade his village on Saturday, October 5.

According to reports, they killed one person, injured three while also kidnapping 8 people alongside the district head, Isah Daya.

Confirming the incident, the Police PRO of the state command, Nafiu Abubakar identified the name of the deceased as Sheriff Alhaji Almu.

Nafiu also added that the police has launched a manhunt for these miscreants, with the aim of rescuing the monarch and other abductors.

This attack comes after gunmen suspected to be bandits attack and kill security operatives and vigilante members in Katsina.
