Former Barcelona forward, Sergio Aguero, has blasted French media for ‘killing’ Lionel Messi.

The Ex-Manchester City star made the disclosure while standing up for the Paris Saint-Germain’s forward after he was knocked for his poor display in PSG’s Champions League clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday, 15th.

The ex-Barcelona forward was rated 3 of 10 by French sports television channel, L’Equipe, following his ‘worrying’ flaccid display after he missed penalty kick in the 62nd minute of the match.

The 7 times Ballon d’Or winner failed to score the penalty as his shot was parried out for a corner by the opponent shot-stopper, Thibaut Courtois.

Real Madrid defender, Daniel Carvajal conceded the penalty after tripping France striker, Kylian Mbappe.

However, the 23-year-old France international eventually grabbed a goal during the injury time to ensure his side’s thin victory over Carlo Ancelotti’s men.

Aguero told RMC Sport: “What s**t this Leo penalty story. He played well, broke lines. He was good and very active.”

“In France, magazines and newspapers killed him. They are a******s.”
