A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has urged all presidential aspirants who contested against Bola Tinubu during the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential primary to close ranks and work with the winner ahead of the 2023 elections.
Dogara made the appeal while congratulating the former Lagos state governor on his victory.
In a tweet, the Bauchi federal lawmaker wrote: “I congratulate my Leader, His Excellency, Senator @officialABAT on this historic victory & emergence as the standard flag-bearer of our great party @OfficialAPCNg.
“I urge all aspirants to close ranks & form a formidable force ahead of the #2023NigeriaElections.”
