The Senate Caucus of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), have called on members and leaders of the party to subsume their interests into larger platform
The senate caucus briefing newsmen after a meeting, through the Senate leader, Senator Yahaya Abdullahi said they would consult the National Party leadership on zoning that has become a huge challenge to the party.
Abdullahi said: “Engage all leaders, members and stakeholders of the party to come together and subordinate their ambitions and egos to larger interests of the Party in the run-up to the 2023 Elections.
“To consult the National Party leadership on zoning and other pre-election issues and processes in order to attain an all-inclusive process of selecting the best material for leadership of the Party and Government.

“The meeting was called to address some fundamental issues facing the Party in the run-up to its National Convention scheduled to hold on the 26th March 2022.”
