Asake Surpasses Burna Boy on Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart

Nigerian singer Asake has surpassed Burna Boy to become the artist with the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

This week, Mr. Money new album Lungu Boy debuted nine songs on the chart, bringing his total to 50 entries.

His track “Active,” featuring American rapper Travis Scott, is currently leading the chart. The Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, which launched in April 2022, has consistently been topped by Nigerian artists since its inception.
