ASUU Strike: Students Cannot Withstand Another 12 Weeks – Gani Adams | Daily Report Nigeria
The Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, Iba Gani Adams has said Nigerian university students can’t withstand another 12 weeks industrial action of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

While describing the strike as disturbing, Adams said that the future of the students are being toyed with.

He stated this at his 52nd birthday ceremony in Lagos.

According to the traditional chief: “Nigerian students cannot withstand another strike for the next 12 weeks”,

While urging the government to address the issues facing the education sector, he said: “I feel bad whenever I see that university students are still at home. This affects their thinking and portends grave danger to us as a nation.”
