A Popular Nigerian activist, Omoyele Sowore has disclosed that he has commenced mobilization of mass protest over the ongoing strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

The academic body which had shut down public universities in February 14 over several demands on Monday, extended the industrial action for another 12 weeks.

Reacting, Sowore, a 2023 presidential aspirant, in a series of tweets on his verified Twitter handle, said he is ready to lay down his life to ensure that Nigerian students get justice.
