Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday, December 13, arrived in Plateau State for his campaign.

Atiku however, suffered a gaffe while speaking to the crowd at Rwang Pam township stadium.

While charging the people which party they should for, Atiku mentioned APDP instead of PDP.

He said:

FOR GOD’S SAKE AND FOR THE VALUE OF THIS PLACE, ENSURE THAT YOU VOTE FOR A… I MEAN PDP THIS TIME AROUND.”

The former vice president also promised to ensure that peace returned to the state if elected as President in 2023.

Meanwhile, the PDP presidential candidate’s gaffe is coming weeks after All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu suffered a similar incident in the same stadium.

Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, had said: “God bless PD… APC” instead of APC. Both gaffes occurred on a Tuesday.
