Famous singers Ayra Starr and Tems have been announced as the most streamed Nigerian artists on Spotify.
Spotify, the global music streaming platform, released a list of Nigeria’s top 30 tracks for the first half of 2024, highlighting Ayra Starr’s success, particularly her collaboration with Rauw Alejandro on the track “Santa.”
Ayra Starr also secured the second spot with her solo hit “Comma,” while Tems came in third with “Love Me Jeje.”

The fourth spot was taken by Luciano and Omah Lay’s “Another Vibe,” followed by Burna Boy and Savage’s “Metro Booming Just Like Me” in fifth place, and Tyla and Tems’s “No.1” in sixth.
During a press conference in Lagos, Phiona Okumu, Spotify’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, explained that the list recognized the most listened-to Nigerian tracks from outside the country between January 1 and June 30, 2024.
