A Special Assistant on Political Matters to the Delta State Government, Comrade Ellington Bakumor has distributed note books and to pupils of Labulouseigha Primary School.
According to Bakumor, the move was his own way of helping the pupils meet their basic education needs.
Harping on the essence of basic education, Bakumor said the challenges faced by rural communities were enormous.

He stressed that the challenges were gradually posing a great threat to education in these areas, hence the need for his feature.
Speaking while presenting the items to the Labulouseigha community Chairman, Bakumor said;
“The challenges faced by our people are much and it is threatening to education. And we all know education is the bedrock for the future.
“That is why I have come in my own little way to support these children and to help them pursue their future.
“Schools have resumed and there is no better time than now to reach out.”
Receiving the items, the community commended the gesture by the youth leader, and prayed him success in his endeavors.
