The Federal Government of Nigeria has is given out six conditions that must be met by institutions even as the country prepares towards reopening schools.
The conditions were announced by the Minister of State for Education, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba during the 2020 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB) in Abuja on Monday.
According to Nwajiuba, the six conditions are given in a bid to protect pupils and students against the novel Coronavirus.

The Minister also directed all heads of schools across the federation to prepare putting the recommended measures in place to meet the given conditions.
Top of the six conditions given include the decontamination of all school environments as well as the provision of new class sizes that will accommodate physical and social distancing measures.
