Top Nigerian betting site, Bet9ja has declared its collaboration with the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
The disclosure was made in a press briefing at Victoria Island, Lagos on Thursday 16th.
Present at the briefing was Shehu Dikko (Chairman of the NPFL), KikkyBoboye (Head of special projects), Harry Iwuala and members of the NPFL.

The partnership was pioneered by Bet9ja due to interest shown by the NPFL on their sports betting site.
Therefore, Bet9ja saw it as a chance to raise NPFL both financially and structurally as the 2021/2022 season resumed yesterday 17th.
As part of the partnership arrangement, Bet9ja will now be signing up as the Official Supporter / Sponsor of the NPFL under the Betting and Gaming category.

Femi Osobajo, Bet9ja’s Head of marketing and corporate communications said at the briefing:“while we are the biggest sports betting platform in Nigeria, a decent amount of activities that goes on the platform are from foreign leagues.”
“The Nigerian Professional Football League needs all the support it can get, which is why we are trying to throw our weight behind them, and we are hopeful that this partnership would lead to more opportunities and provide a platform for the NPFL to get the kind of publicity it deserves.”
