Blaqbonez Asserts Superiority in Nigerian Music Scene: Claims Better Catalogue Than Peers

Rapper and songwriter Emeka Akumefule, better known as Blaqbonez, recently took to Twitter to express his confidence in his musical prowess. He boldly asserted that he possesses a superior catalogue compared to all other Nigerian singers. Furthermore, Blaqbonez claimed that when it comes to live performances, only the top three or four Nigerian artists can outshine him.

In a tweet from his X account, he remarked, “I’ve only added 2 songs to my rotation this year, and it’s been 3 months. Most releases have been subpar. I don’t even bother with the top 100 anymore, because that list seems curated by amateurs.”

Despite facing criticism, with one critic suggesting he lacked a standout song to back up his claims, Blaqbonez remained steadfast in his stance. He argued that aside from the top few artists, no other musician boasts a more impressive discography than himself.

He further stated, “Apart from the recognized top 3 or 4 artists, NOBODY, I repeat NOBODY, has a better catalogue than me. But if you choose to believe the nonsense you just typed, then I can’t change your mind.”
