A Federal High Court in Ikeja, the Lagos state capital has declared that four accomplices of popular kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike popularly known as Evans who were listed as co-defendants have a case to answer.
Justice Hakeem Oshodi who presided over the sitting, dismissed their ‘no case submission’ application.
The judge ruled that there are substantial evidence, especially the confessional statements of the defendants, to warrant their trial.
The judge therefore ordered them to open their defence with immediate effect.
The arrest of Evans the kidnap kingpin did trend in Nigeria following revelations of his mode of operation.
