Bob Collins Celebrates Tompolo as Court Discharges Warlord of Fraud Charges

The Deputy Speaker of the 4th Mobile Parliament of the Ijaw Youth Council, Rt Hon Bob Collins Igetei has described the freedom granted ex Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpomupolo who’s charges were dropped by a Federal High Court on Wednesday as a victory for the entire Ijaw Nation.

Recall that the renowned warlord has been on the wanted list of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC over fraud allegations to the tune of ₦45.9b.

In celebrating the dropped charges against Tompolo, Bob Collins lauded the famous Odokorikodo for remaining resilient and steadfast in pursuing freedom for his people.

The Diebiri-born parliamentarian of Council further called on Ijaw Nation to capitalize on Tompolo’s acquittal as a unifying factor to patch up the broken pieces of her struggles.

The Secretary General aspirant of the upcoming conventional elections of the Ijaw Youth Council congratulated Tompolo over his vindication in the face of the false allegations.

Justice Ibrahim Buba on Wednesday upheld the no-case submission filed by Tompolo and others at the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.
