Neymar has equaled the Brazil’s all-time goal scoring record.

The Paris Saint-Germain star equaled the record of 77 goals previously held by Brazilian legend, Pele.

Brazil’s all-time leading goal scoring record was held by Pele, who achieved the feat in just 92 games for the Selecao.

Neymar equaled Pele’s record after opening the scoring in their quarter-final match against Croatia at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.

The former Barcelona forward scored from a tight angle in the first half of extra time after both teams failed to find the back of the net in normal time.

However, Petkovic scored three minutes before the end of extra time to take the tie to penalties.
