BREAKING: Abba Kyari to Remain in Detention For Two Weeks

BREAKING: Abba Kyari to Remain in Detention For Two Weeks | Daily Report Nigeria

A Federal High Court in Abuja has extended the detention of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, by 14 days.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has been given permission by the court to hold the embattled Kyari for the period to enable the agency complete its investigation into the hard drug trafficking allegations against him.

Justice Zainab Abubakar issued the order for Kyari to remain in detention for 14 days in the NDLEA facility in Abuja pending investigation.

The order was given after listening to the Director, Prosecution and Legal Services (NDLEA), Joseph. Sunday who moved an ex-parte application to that effect.
