Former Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Wednesday led the governorship campaign rally of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2023 elections.

Biyi Otegbeye flagged off his campaign at the Ake Palace Square, Amosun stormed the venue at 1:49 pm to the chagrin of many at the event.

Amosun had earlier said he would support the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, for the presidency but would support Otegbeye as the candidate of the ADC in Ogun.

Amosun, who was visibly absent at the APC presidential campaign in the state last Wednesday, arrived at about 1:55 pm on foot and was greeted with great admiration from his supporters.

The ruling APC governorship campaign train which was slated for Ado-Odo Ota local government area the same day was ignored by the former governor, like the other campaigns of the party in the state.
