Eleven political parties alongsidw their governorship candidates have filed fresh petitions against the outcome of the Anambra governorship election petition tribunal.

The political parties and their candidates are challenging the victory of the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.

Daily Report Nigeria understands that the petitioners were able to overcome the 21 days deadline stipulated by the Electoral Act for aggrived parties to file petitions against the outcome of elections

tThe petitions were cknfirmed by the Secretary of the tribunal, Barr Surajo Gusau.

Sen Andy Uba of the All Progressive Congress (APC) leads the petitioners, claiming that he who a majority of valid votes that were cast in the election.
