Bandits on Sunday night attacked a Catholic parish located in Chawai, in the Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, kidnapped the parish priest, Rev Fr Joseph Shekari.
The bandits also killed a yet-to-be-identified cook during the attack.

The incident happened around 11:30pm on Sunday February 7.
