BREAKING: Bandits Release 10 Bethel Baptist Students in Kaduna

Abductors of students of Bethel Baptist School in Kaduna have released 10 more victims under their custody.

The students were released on Saturday evening, while 21 others remain in the den of their abductors.

Rev. John Joseph Hayab, Vice President of the Christian Association of Nigeria Northern Nigeria and CAN in Kaduna State, confirmed the release of the students to newsmen.

“10 students were released this (Saturday) evening and have reunited with their parents. We are now hoping for the remaining 21 who are still with the bandits,” he said.

Recall that the bandits invaded the school in the early hours of July 5, 2021 and kidnapped 121 students.

Prior to the 10 released students, 90 other abducted students had been released in batches of 58 and 32 respectively.
