President Muhammadu Buhari has been billed to address Nigerians by 7pm on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

This follows numerous calls from various Nigerians home and abroad for the president to address the nation in the midst of the ongoing #EndSARS protests.

According to the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President, Femi Adesina, Buhari will address Nigerians on a televised broadcast later today.

Femi wrote;

Following detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 7pm.

Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.
