Hurray as Chelsea just succeeded in adding another major trophy to their trophy cabinet at the second extra-time of the FIFA Club World Cup.
The title came in seven months after the Blues had grabbed UEFA Super Cup – their first season’s trophy.
The current Champions League holders outperformed Palmerais to win 2-1 in the 117 minute of the final.

Meanwhile, the Blues were held down by the Brazilian club to a 1-1 draw in full-time.
The match was staged at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Chelsea top-striker, Romelu Lukaku’s goal ten minutes to the second half was enough to put Chelsea ahead.
Nine minutes later, Abel Ferreira’s men roared back as Raphael Veiga found a leveller through penalty awarded by the Australian referee, Chris Beath.
Thanks to Kai Harvertz who summoned up the courage to seal Chelsea victory through a penalty converted by him three minutes before the end of the 120 minute.

Meanwhile, that’s the first time Thomas Tuchel’s citizens will ever raise FIFA Club World Cup.
The European best club were too unfortunate to have lost their first final to Corinthians in a 1-0 defeat in 2012.
Paolo Guerrero’s header was enough to make short work of Chelsea in the match staged at the International Stadium Yokohama in December, 2012.
Chelsea started off this season by beating Villarreal last year August to win the 2021 UEFA Super Cup.
With today’s victory over Alviverde, the Blues have doubled the season’s trophy.
