A Federal High Court sitting in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State has declared that former President Goodluck Jonathan is eligible and “constitutionally” qualified to contest for president in 2023.
The presiding judge, Justice Isa Hamma Dashen gave the judgement on Friday May 27.
He also held that Jonathan’s right to vie for the office of president again cannot be stopped by any retroactive law.
