There is tension at a Popular Building Material market in Dei-Dei, Abuja as Commercial Motorcyclists attacked Traders and burnt down several shops.

It was gathered that a commercial motorcyclist knocked down a woman, who died on the spot.

A source said building materials dealers nabbed the motorcyclist, who later called his colleagues to rescue him.

Speaking on the matter, Josephine Adeh, spokesperson of the Police in the Federal Capital Territory said the police was yet to get full details on the matter.

“Right now we are there and we are trying to calm the situation down,” Adeh stated.
