The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has sealed up the operative complex of Baraza Multipurpose Cooperative Society.
The complex was sealed off on Monday afternoon by operatives of the EFCC following months of owing BMC investors.
The Cooperative founded by Dr. Bribene Mienbi had sought for investors to be patient with the firm at different intervals with the assurance that their returns would be paid.

Unfortunately, it’s been over 10 months since investors were paid their investment returns.
The fate of investors, as well as founders of the firm, is only left to imagine with the latest development.
The Baraza Multipurpose Cooperative Society has multiple branches, particularly across states in the Niger Delta.
